Why Me, Inc.

Why Me, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps families coping with childhood cancer. The Sherry’s House project was created to provide a no-cost center for support, encouragement, and lodging for patients and their families during cancer treatments. GEI was retained to provide site design and permitting services. The project included the following:

• Perform site design including layout and grading of driveways, parking areas and sidewalks as well handicap accessibility, water, sewer and drainage utilities.

• Coordinate site design elements with the Client and project architect to achieve the specific goals and desired appearances of the site.

• Permit the project through the local Planning Board and Conservation Commission as well as MassDEP.
