The development of a ±3.2 acre parcel of land on Route 9 in Shrewsbury into a luxury automobile dealership. GEI was retained to provide topographic survey, design, permitting and construction administration services. The project included the following:

• Prepared design drawings for the development of a vacant site abutting an existing automobile dealership site into a luxury automobile dealership including layout, grading, water, sewer, drainage and stormwater management utilities.

• Special design attention was needed to coordinate with the abutting dealership and the steeply sloping site with the requirements of the dealership and site utilities including a fully compliant stormwater management system.

• Emphasis on visually appealing site design given the extremely high visibility site on a major thoroughfare (Route 9) and a luxury automobile line.

• Permit the project through the Town of Shrewsbury Planning Board.

• Permit the project through Mass Highway for an Access Permit and design of a deceleration lane on Route 9.

• Prepare a SWPPP and federal Notice of Intent under the EPA’s NPDES program.

• Provide construction administration services such as site inspections, shop drawing reviews and construction stakeout.
