St. Spyridon Cathederal

The Client desired to construct a new parking lot on a nearby parcel of land and construct an addition to the existing church facility for a family center. CJK Design Group and St. Spyridon Cathedral retained GEI to provide topographic survey, design, permitting services, construction administration, and periodic inspection services. The project included the following:

• Prepare design drawings and hydrology calculations for the construction of the new parking lot. Prepare design drawings for the construction of site utilities, grading, etc. associated with the building addition.

• Design a subsurface infiltration system to comply with MA Stormwater Management Guidelines for the new parking lot.

• Coordinate with the project Architects, CJK Design Group with regard to the building and site work.

• Permit the project through the City of Worcester Planning Board for a parking plan permit and the Worcester Conservation Commission with preparation of a Notice of Intent.
