Seven Hills Foundation

Seven Hills Foundation, a non-profit organization, desired to renovate two existing buildings on a ±1.4 acre site on a major thoroughfare in Fitchburg to create a daycare facility. GEI was retained to provide topographic survey, design, permitting, and construction administration services. The project included the following:

• Prepared design drawings for the full redevelopment of the site including grading, parking, drainage, water and landscaping.

• The project required the reconstruction and re-grading of the existing parking lot to meet the Clients needs.

• Design included reserving area for playground equipment, walkways between the two buildings and recreational areas,

• Perform fire flow testing to determine available flow and pressure for design of new sprinkler systems in the two buildings (designed by others).

• Coordinate with the project architect and other trade consultants for site utilities and site features.

• Permit the project through the Fitchburg Planning Board for a Site Plan and Special Permits.
