Bowditch Athletic Complex

The renovation of an existing municipal athletic complex that includes a football field with home and away grandstands, track, multiple basketball and tennis courts, several baseball fields, track and field event areas and parking. GEI was retained to provide design, permitting and construction administration services. The project included the following:

• Prepared design drawings for the development of the site including low-impact design (porous pavement and bioretention areas), drainage and stormwater management systems, water, sewer and gas utilities.

• Permit the project through the Town of Framingham Conservation Commission with special attention to development within a 100-year floodplain and discharge to Sudbury River.

• Provide construction administration services such as site inspections, shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, etc.

• Prepare a SWPPP for the site for compliance with EPA NPDES (Construction General Permit).
